The Urbanisation of La Marina is an international area with a wide range of different nationality restaurants and bars to suit all ages, families, couples and parties.
There are different areas on the Urbanisation:-
Area 1. In Calle Amersterdam is the local Tourist Information Office (TIO), where you can find out what is going on locally. Opposite the TIO is a large supermarket “Dial Prix”. There are numerous bars running on the four sides of the block. Teteina – Tea house and garden which is a superb place to spend an afternoon have a Sparkling Afternoon Tea. Emma´s Bar is a place to enjoy English breakfast and Sunday lunches. To enjoy traditional Spanish Tapas visit Restaurante Santa Monicas.
Area 2. Consum Square off Calle Justo Antonio Quesada. Located on the square is the supermarket Consum and the D.O. Deutsche supermarket. The square is opposite the childrens fooball pitch, a free pitch and putt area (you need to bring your clubs and balls). Located in the area are number of restaurants and bars , including Cafe J´s Bar, Biancos Bar, Final Whistle Sports Bar, The Chippy, The Lazy Cow (for night life),Tia Maria (spanish tapas bar), Kumars Indian Restaurant to name a few. The Correos (post office) is located in this area .
Area 3. Known as the Grey area is on the corner of Calle Madrid and Calle Av Moscu. In this area are a range of bars and restaurants which include Ramons (Spanish), Mayas (Spanish), Grill House and Mels Kitchen, Resturante Curry Mahal, and Woodstock Bar and again many more.
Area 4. This area is close to the Sabadell Bank and the Local Police Station in Calle Madrid. Located on the corner of Calle Madrid is a private medical centre. In the direction of the grey area is a Farmacia. Opposite the private medical centre is a Dial Prix supermarket. In this area again there are a number of restaurants and bars which include Tio Pepes, Restaurante Good Asia, Dos Mas Cerveceria, Pisa Pizzeria and many more.
If you travel out of the Urbanisation on Aveinda San Fulgencio in the direction of the sea, you will pass the service station and arrive at the main road N332. Go straight across at the roundabout and you will arrive at the La Marina Pueblo. There are 3 local beaches close by:- El Pinet in the direction of Santa Pola, La Marina beach and Platja El Rebollo in the direction of Guardamar (N332a).
Close to the Platja El Rebollo is the La Marina Resort Camp Site, which has a small water park and entertainment all day/night.
Follow the road to Guardamar and you will meet the N332 and at the next roundabout take the first exit and this road leads back on to the La Marina Urbanisation. At his junction there are several supermarkets including Mercadona, Aldi, Lidl, Iceland Overseas. For those people who wish fast food there is a Burger King.
Close to the TIO is La Marina Sports Complex on Satelitte Roundabout. A superb place to take the family to enjoy the outside pool area, bowls green, restaurants and bar. Evening entertainment is also laid on.
During the peak holiday season there are buses to the local beaches: La Marina and El Pinet. If you wish to explore the surrounding areas there are a few local buses from the urbanisation to Elche, Guardamar, Alicante, Torrevieja and Cartagena.
If you have your own transport have the opportunity to explore the local villages of San Fulgencio and La Marina Elx, or futher a field Guardamar, Quesdada, Rojales or Elche.

Every Thursday there is a morning market in the market place in Calle Justo Antonio Quesdada and on a Saturday there is a market behind Lidls Both markets sell vegetables , clothing and miscellaneous items.
