General Rules

  1. Smoking is NOT allowed in the property.
  2. Pets are not permitted in the property.
  3. Do not use candles, table BBQs, fire pits etc .
  4. Always Turn off the air conditioning  lock the front door and close the windows when leaving the property.
  5. The  accommodation is  self catering and no daily maid service is provided.
  6. Enjoy your Vacation.

Keys

For your own comfort and peace of mind please ensure that when leaving your villa that all windows are closed, shutters are left down, and all doors are closed.

When leaving your apartment on day of DEPARTURE please leave the set of keys in the Key safe outside the front door. The key safe code is 4159

Any keys lost would result in you being charged for having a new set of keys cut and any necessary call out fees.

Alarm System

  • There is NO active alarm system in the property.

Swimming Pool

  • Pool use at Personal risk
    a. According to the current legislation, it is not obligatory to provide a lifeguard for the pool of MdCR. Note that if there is any change of laws, we will have to comply with it.
    b. No pets whatsoever are allowed into any of the pool areas.
    c. Swimming is permitted in any of the pools only during the hours of 08:30 to 23:00 (required time for its cleaning, and for it to clear and drain especially in summer).
    d. Lilos, snorkelling equipment, large inflatable toys and other objects that hinder the normal use of the pools by other users are forbidden except for those that are used to help disabled persons or non-swimmers.
    e. The rules of use are on the board of the pool complex.
    f. No glasses/bottles may be taken to the pool area as this represents a serious safety hazard.
    g. Alcohol is not allowed in or around the pool. Water and soft drinks are allowed in unbreakable containers.
    h. No food is allowed in the pool.
    i. Personnel must shower before using the pool.
    j. Shampoo or soap is not allowed in the pool area at any time.
    k. Nude swimming or swimming with clothes that are nor swimming gear is forbidden;
    l. Smoking and the use music players in the swim area is forbidden.
    m. Bombing or jumping into the pool is not allowed.
    n. All rubbish is to be taken away.
    o. Children under 12 years must at all times be accompanied by parents or supervisor.
    p. Swim Diapers & Swim Pants:
    1. The use of swim diapers and swim pants might give parents a false sense of security regarding fecal contamination. Swim diapers and swim pants might hold in some solid feces and they are not leak proof. Swim diapers can delay diarrhea-causing germs, from leaking into the water for a few minutes, but swim diapers do not keep these germs from contaminating the water. No manufacturers claim these products prevent leakage into pools. Swim diapers and swim pants are not a substitute for frequent diaper changing and bathroom breaks.
    2. Parents or supervisor must frequently (approximately every 30 to 60 minutes) check swim diapers and swim pants and change them away from the poolside (for example, in the bathroom).
    q. The non-observance of the rules of the pools can lead to a partial or total ban from the pools complex. Further legal actions may be taken against them for those individuals who violate the rules, show inappropriate behaviour or vandalise the pools complex and/or against the Unit Owner responsible. The Community will claim all costs (e.g. cleaning) to the owner in case of an incident by the owner or their tenants while not respecting our rules and recommendations hereabove.

Rubbish

  • Take all rubbish to the large rubbish containers in the streets around the property.
  • Ensure the rubbish is put into the rubbish containers and not in the actual street.

General Community Rules

  • Please remember to close the pedestrian gates and main doors to the buildings quietly.
  • Please do not put towels, laundry items, carpets etc over balcony walls. Airers are provided.
  • Guests are not permitted to bring other people to the pool if they are not registered at staying at the property.
  • Noise / Quiet hours / Other disturbances
    a. Any activities that cause noise and disturbances in any form to the neighbours are prohibited between the hours of 24:00 and 08:00 hrs. It should be noted that at all other times of the day only reasonable levels of noise are acceptable.
    b. The volume of radios, music systems and televisions have to be turned down from 24:00 – 08:00 hrs. to avoid disturbing anyone.
    c. The time between 14:00 to 16:00 is considered a quiet time.
    d. Within the communal areas and the use of scooters, motorbikes rollerblades and playing football are not permitted.

Pets – Animals
a. Dogs must be on a lead when taken for a walk and at all times in public areas.
b. Dog owners must clean up their dogs’ excrement and take it home to dispose of.
c. Dogs are not allowed to run freely in the green areas or established gardens.
d. Cats must be fed at home.
e. Owners are financially liable for any damage caused by their pets in the community and private areas.
f. No stray cats or non-domestic animals may be fed

Barbecues
1. no liquid accelerants may be used to start the barbecues – fire-lighter tablets are permitted.
2. Neighbours may not have nuisance by smoke of open barbecues

Airconditioning

  • Please note that there are 3 independent units in the villa.
  • How to operate using a hand held remote:
    • Tap on the Start/Stop button.
    • The screen shows the different modes options. Click for which you require.
      • Heat
      • Cool
    • Use the arrows to select the best temperature.
    • The minimum temperature for Cold recommended is 20º.
    • The maximum temperature for Hot recommended is 26º.
    • Windows and doors MUST be closed to achieve the best results from the air conditioning machine.
    • Allow 15 minute for the machine to activate.
    • Please switch off the air conditioning when leaving the property.

Electricity

  • The electric voltage for the apartments is 230.
  • Inside the front door entrance is a plastic door which contains the fuse box.
  • If a fuse is blown, try resetting the master fuse.
  • If this does not work: –
    • Put all fuses slowly into the down/off position.
    • Leave for 5 minutes.
    • Turn on the master switch.
    • Turn them all on slowly one by one at a time.
    • If an individual fuse blows the main circuit, leave switched off and notify the emergency number 0034 666290575.

Insects

Ants

  • To avoid ants please where possible keep foods in containers or bags.
  • Empty rubbish bins nightly to prevent any unwanted ants in your property

Mosquitos

  • It is advisable to use a repellent especially at night.
  • If you require the windows open at night due to the heat. Please ensure that you have the shutters down as this will allow the air to circulate and keep the room at a comfortable temperature whilst keeping the Mosquitos at bay.

TV

The television  is a Smart TV only.

Fire Safety

  • In the kitchen there is a fire blanket and fire extinguisher.
  • There is a smoke detector on the ceiling near the kitchen area. If there is a constant beeping. Please call the office on 0034 965290575 (Monday to Friday 09:30 to 16:00) to arrange for the battery to be changed.

 Washing Machine

  • Select Rapido wash on the large dial.
  • Press right hand button Inicio in to start the washing machine.
  • When the wash is finished, remove washing, and close the washing machine door.

Oven

  • To operate the oven :-
    • Select the left  hand button for the relevant heating section off the oven
    • Select the right hand button for the temperature.
  • Extractor fan is switched on by the switch by the unit.

 Terrace

Metal table and 4 chairs

  • Ensure the chairs are left around the table on departure.
  • The chairs must not be removed from the apartment.
  • Put the umbrella down when not in use or when it is windy.
