Torrevieja
Torrevieja is a traditional Spanish coastal town, located on the coast south of Alicante and Guardamar and north of Orihuela Costa and Cartagena. It can be located along the N332.
Tradional Spanish town in the centre of Torrevieja which has many unique shops which are open Monday to Friday 10am to 9pm, but closing for lunch around 2pm to 5pm, and Saturdays open until lunchtime. There are many small cafes and restaurants to enjoy a relaxing break.
On the CV905 which runs from Torrevieja to Rojales, you can find Habaneras Shopping Centre which has many chain shops, restaurants and cafes and is open all day from 10am to 10pm.
On the opposite side of the road is a fast food commercial area with KFC, Mercadona, Lidls, Burger King, Cines IFC and Bowling Alley. The cinema shows both English and Spanish films.
Looking north from Habaneras Shopping Centre across the N332 is Aquapolis Water Park, which is a superb place to spend the summer day. Around the water park are numerous discothèques for the youthful adults to party away the night.
Park of Nations (Parc Jardí de les Nacions) is a little further south of Aquapolis, an ideal place to spend the evening with your young children.
Along the coast of Torrevieja there are numerous sandy beaches, with a lovely broad walk with cafes and restaurants along it.
To the south of the broad walk is a Harbour with bars to spend a nice evening. You can catch a boat trip to Tabarca Island where you can spend a relaxing day snorkelling and enjoy the local fish delicacies.
Follow the CV905 in the direction of Quesada, you go past small restaurant areas and a smaller waterpark in San Luis called Flamingo. This is near to the new large park with skatepark, cycle and childrens playarea
