Las Colinas

Las Colinas  Golf  and Country Club is a community with a security guard at the entrance to the resort.

On the resort is a Mini Supermarket with basics  for your vacation close to the golf club.

There is an award winning  golf course available for golf lovers to enjoy a round of golf and a beverage in the 19th hole. Also for sports enthusiasts  tennis and padel clubs are on the resort. The resort also has an Italian Restaurant “Il Palco” and an international “Resturante Unik”.

As you leave the Resort a the roundabout you can go either west towards San Miguel de Salinas or east  towards Dehesa de Campoamor.

If you go in the direction of Dehesa de Campoamor, take the first turning on the left you will travel across the Campoamor Golf Course to the La Fuente Centre and Las Ramblas.

This area is divided into several different zones:- Villa Martin, Los Dolses, El Barranco, La Zenia, Lomas de Cabo Roig, Blue Lagoon, Las Ramblas . They are all within a 5-minute drive of each other.

Villa Martin area is situated around the VillaMartin Plaza to the west of the AP7. The Plaza is an ideal location to enjoy a pleasant evening at all times of the year, with different live entertainments on each day. “The Hens Teeth” “ Eduardo’s La Plaza” Jumerca Supermarket, “Che!! American Style”

VillaMartin Golf course is located a few minutes’ walk from the plaza, is not too long, and is well adapted to the natural surroundings and terrain,

Los Dolses is situated before the bridge across to Zenia Boulevard. Where you can find:-

Supermarket Dial Prix, Farmacia and Los Dolses Commercial Centre. The commercial centre has many international cafes and restaurants “Rolos Cafe”, “Cafeteria Alemana”, “Pet Cafe”.

Proceed to the roundabout near to Repsol garage at Los Dolses, take the exit by the side of the garage and you will enter the area known as El Barranco which consists of luxury apartments and houses. Before the bridge over the AP7 is the Banana Tree, and on the opposite side of the bridge are several bars including Cafeteria Conceirto.

Before the bridge from Los Dolses to Zenia Boulevard, there is a small roundabout, take the first exit, go to the end of this road and there is a traditional Spanish restaurant  and bar. “Los Cucalos”.

La Zenia has the popular Zenia Boulevard with 100s of shops and restaurants to suit everybody’s pockets.

Lomas de Cabo Roig is west of the AP7, a nice quite area with a few select cafes, restaurants, and Overseas Supermarket.

“Quesada Fish and Chips” is located between Lomas de Cabo Roig and La Fuente, where you can enjoy fish and chips and spend a relaxing time by a lovely outdoor pool.

Travel from Lomas de Cabo Roig towards San Miguel de Salinas, you will find 2 large golf courses: – Las Ramblas Golf course and Campomar Golf course.

Close to the golf courses is Aldi Supermarket and La Fuente Commercial Centre. The commercial centre has many international restaurants and bars including the “Stray Sod Irish Bar”, “Truffels Restaurant” and “The View”.

Travelling in the direction of San Miguel de Salinas there is a large Mercadona Supermarket and a number of different bars and restaurants: – “Royal Oak”, “Captains Morgan Bar.”

At the roundabout before Captains Morgan Bar, you can take the turning towards VillaMartin Plaza.

 

There are numerous blue flag beaches to the east of Zenia Boulevard, with bar, restaurants, sunbeds, and umbrellas to relax away the day. The beaches are Playa de la Zenia, Calla Capitan, Cabo Roig and La Caleta.

 

Travel down to the Mar Menor, a large natural lagoon where you can enjoy a range of water sports and have a mud bath.
